Ordering your repeat prescription using online services

Did you know you can request your repeat prescription using Patient Online Access?

The most convenient, safest and quickest way to order your repeat prescription is online. This method is more convenient for you as you do not need to make a phone call or visit us; instead if you have access to a computer, smart phone or a device that connects you to the internet you can request your repeat prescriptions anywhere, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, all year round! If you have a nominated pharmacy you can also collect your repeat prescription directly from there.

Patient online access is a quicker alternative process, that is more convenient for you!

How to order your repeat prescription without using online services

This process applies to patients who order their repeat prescription via the below methods:

• Over the telephone (This service is for housebound patients only)
• Fax
• In writing (Please use the tear off request portion of your repeat prescription or you can complete one of our forms which are available to complete at the surgery reception desk)
  
  

To assist a timely turnaround of repeat prescriptions we ask that your request includes all of the following information:

• Patient full name
• Date of birth
• NHS number (if known)
• Contact number
• Details of the repeat medication you are requesting

When will my repeat prescription be available to collect?

Your repeat prescription will be available for you to collect in two working days, after 2pm.

The Electronic Prescription Service (EPS): Did you know that you can also nominate a pharmacy of your choice for your prescriptions to be sent electronically to, once processed and signed by a GP?
